There’s no better way to immerse yourself in the culture than by living with a local family. With single and group homestay options you’ll get a unique look at local life, eating traditional meals, taking part in traditional customs, and forming relationships that endure long after your program has ended. Accommodations are comfortable, but some may be smaller or more crowded than one might be accustomed to. The homestay families vary, but generally have traditional family structures. Many have hosted internationals before. Homestay families host more than one participant, and they have their own room. Laundry facilities are available. Families provide two meals daily.

A mandatory orientation in Bethlehem takes place upon arrival prior to the beginning of program. The orientation introduces you to the country and the culture, as well as provides practical information about living in Bethlehem.
