We stay in a mix of hotels, local guest houses and host families. Accommodation is quite comfortable yet basic and participants will generally have access to showers and flush toilets. Participants should be prepared for sharing a room with 1-2 participants of the same gender.
What kind of food will we be eating?
How often will I have access to email and phones?
Internet access is widespread throughout. Hotels, some restaurants, and family homes often offer Wi-Fi access. There are also a number of Internet cafes. With an international plan, you should have no problem with mobile reception during your stay. If you are staying for a longer period, it might be worth getting your phone unlocked and purchasing a local SIM card. Our suggestion would be either Cellcom or Orange because they will cover you in all areas.
